4 eggs 2/3 c. sugar ¼ t salt 1½ c milk, scalded 1 c. light cream scalded 1 tsp vanilla ½ t. nutmeg 1 unbaked pie shell, chilled.
Beat eggs slightly; then add remaining ingredients except nutmeg and pie shell.Pour into chilled pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 400ºF for 25-35 minutes or til knife comes out clean when inserted in center of pie.Cool 30 min. then chill til ready to serve.
