1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tbsp. granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup butter, cold
Filling: 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. almond extract Whipped cream (optional) Marachino cherries (optional)
Directions:
Pastry: Mix flour sugar and salt. cut in butter until mixture resemblescoarse crumbs. Press firmly onto the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
In a saucepan, combine milk, chocolate chips and salt; cookand stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Stir in pie filling and extract. Pour into crust. chill 2-3 hours or until firm. Garnish with whipped cream.
