English Walnut Pie

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
1 c. lg. pieces English walnuts

Mix brown sugar and flour in saucepan. Add corn syrup, butter and salt. Warm over low heat just until butter is melted. Beat eggs with vanilla. Stir in sugar mixture. Turn into pie shell, sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes until filling is set in the center. Cool before cutting.
