3 c Gooseberries 1/3 tsp. Cinnamon 4 tblsp. Flour 2/3 c Sugar, to 3/4 cup
Mix together dry ingredients. Mix lightly through berries. Pour into 8" pie pan. Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter. If fruit is dry, sprinkle 2 tablespoons water. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425° for 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is brown, and juice begins to bubble through slit in crust.
