5-6 c. Strawberries 1 c. Sugar 3 1/2 tblsp. Cornstarch 1/2 c. Water 1 (9") baked pastry shell Whipped cream
Mash 2 cups strawberries. Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water and mashed strawberries. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool. Fold remaining berries into cooled mixture. Pile into pastry shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
