1 Unbaked 9" pie shell 3 c Thinly sliced peeled pears 3 c Thinly sliced apples 3/4 c Sugar 3 tb Flour 1/2 t Cinnamon 1/4 t Salt Topping: 1/2 c Brown sugar firmly packed 1/4 c Flour 1/2 c Finely chopped pecans 1/4 c Butter
Combine pears, apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Place in pie shell. Topping: Combine brown sugar, flour, pecans and butter. Sprinkle over top of pie. Fold a 14" circle of foil loosely over top and around sides of pie. Bake 425 for 40 minutes. remove foil and continue baking 20 minutes longer.
